"ONE SWIMMER AND ONE COACH"

The Penn Charter Aquatic Club was established in the spring of 2003 by the William Penn Charter School. PCAC is a USA-Swimming year-round competitive swim team offering high quality professional coaching and technique instruction for swimmers of all ages and abilities. As a member club of Middle Atlantic Swimming, the goal of PCAC is to provide every member an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success at his or her level of ability.

The program began with 1 swimmer and 1 coach. Since then PCAC has coached over 350 swimmers in 6 years, and currently employs 3 full time and 6 part time coaches. As the program has grown, many achievements have followed. PCAC has trained numerous All-Americans, taken 8 swimmers to Nationals and 1 swimmer to Olympic Trials. As well as dozens of age group swimmers to Junior Olympics, and at least 1 swimmer to Zones in each year of existence.

PCAC trains at the William Penn Charter School pool. During the summer, PCAC utilizes area facilities such as The Philadelphia Cricket Club and Kelly Pool.

From beginners to Olympians and everyone in between, we create an environment where excellence is inevitable and fun!
